Horseshoe Waves Kinetic Sculpture

A mesmerizing kinetic sculpture that uses a series of cam and follower mechanisms to produce a beautiful sine wave motion that in turn produces another beautiful sine wave motion of the ball bearings situated on the followers- it's basically waveception.

This design includes both an 8 horseshoe and a 16 horseshoe version.

It requires 1/2 inch (12mm) steel balls which can be found here: https://amzn.to/3ViJuL7

(You will need 16 balls for the 8 horseshoe version and 32 balls for the 16 horseshoe version)

The STL File:

All parts print on all standard 3d printers, requires no additional tools for assembly, and assembles in seconds (snap the parts together and you're ready to go!)

The video below shows how easily this thing can be assembled!

Recommended print settings:

Layer Height: 0.2mm Nozzle: 0.4mm Infill: 15-18% Total Material: ~222g (8 Piece) ~372g Minimum Bed Size Required: 180mmx180mm

**All the files have been pre-oriented to save you some set up time! All you need to do is drop the parts into your slicer and hit print!
