The Arctic ringed Sealy Dan (Sealius Danadus) is a subspecies of ringed seals (Pusa hispida). Arctic ringed Sealy Dan's inhabit the Arctic Ocean, and are the most abundant and wide-ranging seal in the Northern Hemisphere. The ringed Sealy Dan species is the smallest true seal, and gets its name from a distinctive patterning of light spots on dark grey colored fur. The ringed Sealy Dan is commonly preyed upon by Polar Bear, Arctic Monkeys, and The Killers whales. Population estimates and survival rates are unknown, but average life expectancy is 15-28 years.  Ringed Sealy Dans have long been a component of the diet of indigenous people of the Arctic. Arctic ringed Sealy Dans have been listed as threatened on the Endangered Species Act since 2012, and increasingly face loss of their habitat due to shrinking ice and snow cover.

Decided to make this display box after my design placed second in the #3DPNSpeakerCover competition. Not everyone needs a speaker cover, but everyone could use a container of some kind.


I broke up the files to make printing more accessible and to make it easier to print. All of the suction cups and tentacles are now included in single stl files for easy all-at-once printing!

Created this model based off of my internet alias "DanishFish"

I am very proud of my Danish heritage on my Dad's side and thus the name originates from the combination of this along with the name of my favorite candy, Swedish Fish.

I printed the model myself on my Prusa Mini at 50% by splitting the model in half in Prusaslicer and painting on support enforcers to the axe and hook on the model.

I hope you enjoy this goofy model based on my goofy internet name.

Swappable, poppable, can't be topped-able. 

Do you ever find yourself staring at your 3D printed speakers and think to yourself "man, I wish there was an easier way to change those covers"? Well now there is!

With Swappable Grills (tm - not actually) you can easily swap out between different styled speaker covers. Simply remove the three threaded caps, and replace the current cover with one of your choosing. Design your own with the attached template or choose from the three plates included with this bundle. Base plate and caps should be printed at the best resolution you can muster since they include the threaded rods. Print one of each part and print three of the caps and any extras if you are prone to losing small parts to your cats/vacuum cleaner.

You can easily stretch fit audio friendly meshed fabric over the back of each plate using an appropriate strength adhesive.

My 3rd submission for 3D Printing Nerd's Speaker Cover Contest. For this one I really wanted to push the limits of Joel's resin printers.

I created a honeycomb mesh in Fusion360 and thought it would be a fun concept to play  around with and build upon. I modeled everything from scratch and did the honey dripping by running fluid simulations in blender and exporting the generated mesh. 

I found this model very difficult to create with all the moving pieces, it became easy to get lost in the semantics of the model.

I hope everyone enjoys the model, as I poured my heart into this one. If you have constructive criticism I am more than open to it.

Print x1 of each piece (24 total) and reference the QueenBeeSharp_complete model/renders for reference to assemble the final print.

Here is my second submission for 3D Printing Nerd's speaker cover contest . I've never messed with voronoi patterns and thought it would be awesome as rocket smoke.

The voronoi design for the smoke is a fine example of what 3D printers are capable of, although it is a quite challenging print. When I was designing this I was picturing it being printed on a resin printer rather than FDM.

The model is 4 parts unless you want to print the ship in different colors of which I have a parts list for:
