Howling Wolf Book Nook
I made this book nook to look like a lone wolf howling at a blood moon, framed by trees and leaves. It’s simple to put together! The wolf just drops right into the box, making such a cool shelf piece. Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan thinking of Sirius Black, or simply a lover of wolves and nature, this one’s for you.
For the wolf, I printed it in basic black PLA and brushed it with silver Rub ‘n Buff. The box can be printed in one color or three colors (painted .3mf included) for more pop (tree box, leaves, and moon). I used Bambu Lab's Sparkle Brown, Green, and Red PLA for the box.
Print Settings I Used:
Layer Height: 0.16mm (0.20mm works too if you want it quicker) Walls: 3 Infill: 20% lightning
Wolf:
One color Tree supports – build plate only ~9 hours on my Bambu Lab A1 ~121g filament
Box:
Support-free Three colors: ~411g filament / ~20 hours One color: ~358g filament / ~16 hours
As always, tag me in your social media post and I'd love to reshare.
Happy printing! -Christian, @CraftyKid3D
