The Dragon Portal Book Nook features a detailed dragon head peering through an open portal, illuminated from within, while its large claws tear the portal open.

The model prints in separate pieces, including the box, dragon head, and two light-holding tops. One top holds an LED puck light, while the other includes a slot for an LED tea light. The tops slide in and snap securely into place, so no glue is necessary.

There are two versions of the dragon head included. One has cutouts for 6mm glass eyes, while the other has fully printed eyes.

I printed mine using Bambu Lab Black and Bronze PLA. Although the multicolor version looks great, this is also an easy model to print in a single color. A quick coat of paint or Rub ’n Buff can bring out the details without requiring a multicolor printer.
