NAMI | Japandi Wave Shelf Mold Set
NAMI brings a calming rhythm to your wall. "NAMI" (Japanese for 'Wave') is a bent wood wall shelf characterized by its gentle, flowing curve. This is a complete toolkit (molds + custom clamps) designed to create this minimalist shelf using your 3D printer.
No Heavy Clamps Required! Traditional wood bending usually requires expensive, heavy woodworking clamps. This set includes a dedicated 3D printable clamp system. You can easily press the wood simply by using these printed parts. The included pressure_sheet.stl ensures even pressure distribution for a perfect curve. Easy One-Touch Mounting By gluing magnets to the back of the shelf, you can snap it onto standard thumbtacks on your wall. This allows for easy removal and leaves minimal holes, making it renter-friendly. For Heavy Items: If you plan to place heavier objects on the shelf, please secure it with a thin pin or nail through the small safety hole for extra stability.
Versatile Styling The wave shape acts as a small stage for your cherished objects:
- Entryway Catch-all:Perfect for keys or coins.
- Meditation Altar:Display a crystal, a small incense holder, or a photo.
- Minimalist Decor:Beautiful as a standalone architectural piece on the wall.
About the Photos The images show a traditional Japanese "Kamidana" (household spirit altar) setup. The bent wood vase shown next to the shelf was created using my "FLOAT Press Mold Set".

Bill of Materials (Required Items): To complete this project, you will need to purchase the following separately:
- Wood Veneer: Thickness 0.25mm. Note: The mold is designed for a total thickness of 2.5mm. Please adjust the number of veneer layers (usually 10layers) to achieve exactly 2.5mm.
- Wood Glue: Titebond or similar.
- Mounting Hardware: Screws, nails, thumbtack, or magnets(φ10mm x 2mm) 🛒 Recommended Magnets on Amazon

Recommended Print Settings: Since these parts will be under pressure, strength is important.
- Material: PLA or PLA+ (Rigid material is best)
- Wall Line Count: 3 or 4 lines
- Infill: 20% - 25% (Grid or Gyroid)
- Layer Height: 0.2mm - 0.28mm
- Supports: No supports required
