Controller AFK Wedge

This model is restricted by licensing terms. 

These wedges are for holding one or both sticks on a controller off-center without your hands. Useful for keeping your game awake or your character moving, e.g., in AFK XP maps or games where you need to run long distances across maps. You can use one wedge to run in a straight line, or two wedges to run in circles.

These have been designed for and tested with Xbox One and Series X/S controllers. It may fit other controllers with similar thumbsticks, but please comment below with requests for other controller compatibility.

To use the wedge, insert it under the thumb stick with the ridge facing down towards the controller. If it's hard to insert, tilt the thumb stick first with your other hand. The ridge on the wedge should sit into the ring around the thumbstick opening, holding it in place. To remove, gently lift the wedge up and slide it out.

Note that some games may prohibit AFK farming. Be sure to understand any applicable rules and use at your own risk.

Files and Printing

Both 3MF and STL files are included. Note that when previewing the model on Thangs, you may need to select the STL file for it to load correctly.

Print with the flat side (without the ridge) on the print bed. No supports needed!

You will need one wedge per controller stick, so if you want to make a character run in circles, you'll need to print two copies.
