Ghostbusters Afterlife - Proton Pack Crank Gen Switch

This is the 2nd new switch on the proton pack that sits under the crank gen

uses a super cheap easily available switch (KCD3) -not an ACDC tribute band...

You can take apart the original switch by simply inserting 2 thin shims (plectrums, playing cards, butter knife) on either side to release the tabs or a Stanley knife either side to cut tabs off, then all you need is the metal parts and the housing.

There are 2 versions of the lever depending on what the internals of your switch look like, one type will have a spring with a cap on, this is the spring pin file you will need to trim the spring to fit, the other version is for the type with a spring and a foot type connector, no modification needed, just put the spring in the hole.

You need a pin of some sort that is 10mm long and 2.5mm – 3mm wide (don’t use anything thinner as the switch might not lock into position)
