Hey Phanton.. True story absolutely, but they are pretty cheap at like $6-$7 for a bag of 100 so doesn't really matter too much no? I would always much rather use 2 of them and have the remaining bag of 98 in my O Ring drawer as I will more than likely at some point down the road use them for some other design/part. I have zero doubt you can get single O Rings somewhere ( and pay $4 in shipping for 50c part ) or walk in some hardware store and buy 2 O Rings ( If they have the exact size I need ). The biggest reason I will absolutely stick with McMaster is I pull the needed nuts/bolts ( O Ring in this case ) etc actual CAD Model of the Nut/Washer/O Ring etc directly into Fusion 360 from the McMaster Carr link within Fusion so I can place the exact thing/hardware I need and hit the order button order and it shows up here the next day.. I will pay more for the seamlessness of that all day long!
Would be cool if this used a readily availble o-ring. If I'm printing 1 hose nozzle, I don't need 100 o-rings from McMaster Carr...
Hi RedWing, yeah sorry about that little over sight :), I just put the McMaster part number and dimensions in the "2nd Update 08/09/2021:" in the part description above...
What is the part number for the O rings? Ty
