What's better than a bottle of Butterscotch beverage? A bottle of Butterscotch beverage in a cauldron!
Prints in three parts. The cauldron body, base, and handle.
The Cauldron: There is a pre-supported version with break away parts modeled in. (print with a .2mm layer height for the pre-supported version, for clearances to work)
The other version is support free, so you can add supports to your liking.
The Base: Add support from build plate only, or use a cylindrical support enforcer to avoid cleaning support from inner threads.
The Handle: Support is not needed, but you can for better bed adhesion based on material.
The handle is friction fit, just start inserting the lower hook and carefully flex the upper into the top hole. With a little wiggle, it should work itself in and stay put.
- This cauldron bottle holder was made with “Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer ” soda bottles as reference. They have a diameter of 61.5mm at the shoulder ( the widest part after the neck ).
I can try and make size alterations on request.
For a DIY approach, you can print the sizing ring to test fit bottles you may have. This way you can alter the scale of the ring for a custom fit, then scale the full model accordingly. (Just be sure not to use the pre-supported version, as the scaling will affect the tolerances of the model)
