This is my attempt at a "compliant" base for paper minis. The idea is that you can bend it slightly for the part that holds the minis to open up. Insert the miniature, and it will hold it well enough for a game. Then, you can easily remove it.

Note: in some cases the ends of the opening would fuse in my prints. I have tried different geometries, but I could not avoid it completely. Carefully pry this spot open with a small screwdriver, and the base still works fine.

I made these for my kids to use in their toy kitchen. They are a simple design with no need for supports.

Important note: you should print those files with the large flat surface on the bed.

After using 5% infill a few times I increased that to 15% and, behold, the issues with a few spots on the top surface not bridging correctly ceased. Who would have thought.

I made these bowls for my kids to use in their toy kitchen. They are a simple design with no need for supports.

Important note! Print this with the bottom on the build plate!

I had some issues along the perimeter of the bowl halfway up. I discovered that my slicer had sliced a couple of layers with loads of small loops instead of continuous one. I fiddled with the extrusion width in the settings (increasing it from 0.45 to 0.48 specifically) and managed to reduce the issue.

Bowls for the Toy Kitchen [no supports]

My kids asked me to print them a couple of eyeballs for their play kitchen. I chose not to ask questions but get designing.

All the pieces can be printed with no supports or rafts. I recommend 0.15 mm to 0.2 mm layer height). Use white filament (I used PLA) for the top and bottom half of the eyeball and whichever filament you find pleasing for the iris.
