Make your own custom lithophane light box with the fun aesthetic of 3D printer infill patterns!

Super simple lithophane light box design while having some fun with Slicer infill patterns for the aesthetics on the walls! Print with various colored pieces for an unique home decor piece or print the walls in your favorite translucent filament and add your favorite LED's of choice!

**PRINT SETTINGS-Roof and Base**
QTY: 1 Roof, 1 Base
Roof and Base pieces should be be support free, infill % at your discretion, 2-3 perimeters
0.2-0.25mm layer height

**PRINT SETTINGS- Infill Wall panels**
QTY: 5 walls (4 sides and 1 top wall)
To get the infill pattern to show through well, you'll need to adjust your top/bottom walls and infill settings.
- Bottom walls: 2-3
- Top walls: 0
- Infill: 5-10% (this is where it gets creative, play around with different infill patterns and percentages!)
- Perimeters: 2
- Layer Height: 0.2mm 

No supports needed

These should be printed flat against the build plate, with the top wall being the highest z-height. Any questions, please let me know. 

**Assembly**
All side wall panels should slide into the grooves in the base, with the panel that goes into the roof should friction fit into place. If your printer tolerances are not consistent, a small amount of glue can keep the top roof panel in place. From there, the roof panel should fit together with the base. You may need to wiggle the roof to line up the openings in the roof for the wall panels to get the roof to sit proper but shouldn't be too difficult. Again, any questions or feedback, please let me know and I will make adjustments if necessary!

Lithophane Infill Cube

Is it a gingerbread house? Is it a holiday factory? It is BOTH!

My 2024 holiday display: The Gingerbread factory is now available for download. There are 3 different sizes available dependent on how big your printer can print the parts! 


This model comes in a kit style build, which means you can print all the parts individually and then put the display together! Use a multi color/tool printer to color/decorate you parts or use a single tool printer to decorate your parts post printing, maybe with a 3d pen or some acrylic paint markers! It's up to you how your display comes to life!

**Printer Setting Recommendations**

"Most" part files have been designed for a single tool machine that can handle color swaps so you can get the visual effects in your prints. The stained glass window pieces all have sections that are different layer heights, so with some help with your slicer, you can do color swaps and get the multi-color stained glass window effect. 

**File designation:**
I tried to zip each grouping of model sizes to no avail, thus each part has a number designator (250, 300, or 350). There are 23 parts for each sized kit. Please use parts with all the same number at the end or parts wont fit/look right,.

250 kit-parts fit printer with a 250x250mm bed
300 kit-parts fit printer with a 300x300mm bed
350 kit-parts fit printer with a 350x350mm bed

CAUTION: if printing on a smaller bed than 250x250, use the 250 parts folder and scale down from there. While parts should scale down and tolerances should work, I can't guarantee parts will print well smaller than the 250x250 size as this was designed for a minimum bed of 250x250. This size has been tested but not smaller.  Print at your own risk. 

Every part only needs printed once, with exception of garland. The garland needs 2 printed for the full assembly.

**Layer height settings:**
250 parts- 0.15mm layer height 
300 parts- 0.15 or 0.2mm later height
350 parts- 0.2mm layer height

**Infill**
the clock insert, staircase, and all stained glass window pieces should be printed with 100% infill. All other pieces can have infill at discretion.

Gingerbread Factory

**9/21/24: Updated the openings on the chain link from 2.5mm to 3mm for easier assembly onto the pendent and other chain links. Also added the file for replacement links in case you break the links with the opening during assembly. Thanks to 3DMedicVince for the suggestion and individual link file!** 

Get ready for 3DPrintopia with some bling! The 3DPrintopia bling chain consists of a pendant and a chain link segment. Print multiple chain links and connect them for a long  wearable chain necklace and show off your 3DPrintopia pride!
NOTE: I do not own rights to 3DPrintopia logo. All logo rights belong to the event/organization and is used for entertainment purposes only. No remixes of the file or logo are allowed due to this.

I Recommend printing 3 chain links for desired length/look. Each chain link has each link on its ends with an open slot to connect easily to the pendent hooks and to additional chain links. 

Print setting suggestions:
Pendent can be printed with multiple colors (color swaps) on a single tool printer or and multi tool printer! Recommend slicing/painting alternating gems on the pendent to get the checkerboard look. 

chain link has flat surface to adhere to bed. If having adhesion issues, I suggest a small brim around each link. light supports needed, especially on end links with open slot. 50% > infill recommended.

Another fun LED wall panel design inspired by my love for NanoLeaf style wall panels but for much lower cost than the store bought ones! This design has a neat light shadowing effect and a retro lighting aesthetic with the x-shape cutouts.

Easy Setup! Just slide the pyramidal shell into the square base piece, wire up your favorite LED's and controller/software and you're good to go! The square panels allow you to create whatever panel shape you want! They are also lightweight that can make connecting together and wall mounting easy with command strips or doubled sided tape! 

I recommend a bright white PLA for best light diffusion but you can print these in any color if you just want a cool non-LED wall piece

_**RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS:**_
**Square Base:** >80% infill, 2 or more walls, supports underneath wire hole cutouts and corner slots, thick brim (5 or more layers)

**Pyramid shell:** 100% infill, 2 or more walls, supports on buildplate enabled (for wire hole cutouts and corner slots), thick brim (5 or more layers). You shouldn't need supports under the actual pyramid shape.

Jano-Leaf 3.0 LED Light Panels

No ifs ands or buts, this model's got GUTS!

Inspired from one of my favorite Nickelodeon game shows from the 1990's, GUTS. The Aggro Crag Trophy was the ultimate prize for the contestants who had won the competition and now you can have your very own glowing piece of that radical rock! 

Each piece, including the top hat, base and logo can be printed separately and then assembled together. Use a small amount of adhesive to glue the logo onto the side of the base. You can make a non-LED version or use whatever LED lights you have to create a glowing lit up model!

NOTE: This is a fan recreation. I do not own the rights to the Nickelodeon or the GUTS logos. All rights to the logo artwork go to their respective owners. 

Print Settings:
Base and logo are fairly easy to print, with the logo designed to be able to color swap easily at different layer heights. For the shell, I recommend printing this with many (5+) perimeters and zero infill. It doesn't necessarily need supports underneath but you can print supports if your printer does not handle bridging well.

Recommended print setting: 15% infill, 4 perimeters, 0.2mm layer height

A fun geometric design I came up with last year but hadn't posted to the world until today! Can print the top half in a solid color or print in clear if you want to add your own addressable LED strips like I did for a really unique LED lamp !

The base can be printed pretty easily with only support needed on the underside.

The lamp shade is a solid file that is recommended to be printed with the smooth side on the print bed, 0% infill, 3-4 bottom layers and 2+perimetera to get the desired shell. The thicker the layer perimeters, the better! No support needed on the lamp shade

My design for this year's 3D printed gingerbread house1 This XL sized kit consists of 14 files that you can print and build together to create an awesome gingerbread like structure! A fun project for the holiday season or if you have 3D printers in need of something to do.

Every piece should be support free with the exception of the one roof piece. 15-20% infill per piece is recommended. You can manually set color/filament swaps in the slicer of your choice to get the multi colored effect, or use a tool like a 3d pen to decorate your creation with a “rustic” feel! 

Please do not sell this kit or use it for any selling of any sort without my knowledge or permission.

One of three holiday tree models I've designed for 2023! This model is a holiday tree inspired by the wooden herringbone aesthetic that has been quite popular. 

No supports needed. Can print flat on its side. 15-20% infill recommended. Can scale up or down if needed.

One of three 2023 holiday tree models I've designed this year! Inspired by the spiral tree outdoor lawn decorations. 

Model consists of three parts: the body, the base and the topper. No supports are required on any of the three models. 

The body is recommended to be printed at 100% infill, at least 2 perimeters. Should be flexible enough after the print to bend/manipulate but use caution on over flexing, especially using mor brittle filaments. 

the base should have at least 25% infill and enough perimeters for a solid base/stem.

Topper tolerance should be loose on the top of the stem and can be glued in if needed. The tolerance for the stem should be just enough that the body piece is adjustable but not loose.
