Modular Advent Calendar

This modular advent calendar can be arranged into many shapes. The examples shown include a Christmas tree, snowflake, and candy cane, but you can build whatever layout fits your space or display style.

It’s slightly larger than most advent calendars so it can hold a wider range of gifts. Standard small calendars often can’t fit certain items, so this design provides more flexibility and makes filling the boxes easier.

Print the T-slot connectors in PLA or PLA+ for the best fit. Silk filament is not recommended because it may create tighter tolerances and make assembly difficult.

Assembly Instructions Attach the Doors

1. Before building your layout, attach each door to its box.
2. Align one of the two door pegs with the hole inside the box.
3. Insert the first peg, then press the second peg into the opposite hole.
4. Make sure the door swings freely before moving on.

Build Your Shape

1. Flip each box to access the connector slots on the back.
2. Insert a T-slot connector into a slot.
3. Slide another box onto the connector.
4. Continue adding boxes and connectors until your design is complete.
