So way back in the day I found the Pokebox Switch case by 3D Printing World (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3474587) and I remixed the top of that case to be an Ultra Ball. The BEST Pokeball. More recently I found their version that same case, but it was hollowed out to hold cards! (https://thangs.com/designer/3dprintingworld/3d-model/Pokebox%20Card%20holder-28215) Since I'm a Commander player in Magic The Gathering, I needed a case that would hold at least 100 Dragon Shield Sleeved cards and this one would not. To that end, I expanded the model pieces to fit my needs!

This is another version of the Pokeball deck box line I've been working on! Here we have the mysterious GS Pokeball! Print one of everything in this list and you should be good to go! I printed things at .2 resolution and 10% gyroid infill. You'll need to source a spring for the button. I just sacrificed old pens to get what I needed and cut the springs to size. These boxes will hold a 100 card Dragon Shield sleeved MTG deck with room for tokens. Or whatever else you want to put in it! Rocks. Buttons. Coins. Batteries. Idk I'm here to judge or yuck yums. This model was a little more work and time to print. The colored rings and inserts I ended up printing at  .12 resolution and 100% infill. They needed a little more accuracy in order to fit in the correct places as clearance was tight. For everything else, .2 layer height and 10% gyroid infill did the trick. You'll need to source a spring for the button. I just sacrificed old pens to get what I needed and cut the springs to size. These boxes will hold a 100 card Dragon Shield sleeved MTG deck with room for tokens. Or whatever else you want to put in it! Rocks. Buttons. Coins. Batteries. Idk I'm here to judge or yuck yums. I printed things at .2 resolution and 10% gyroid infill. The lid for this will need supports obviously, and the M should just press fit into the indention. I had to kind of start the M in the slot and then press it flat on a table to get it to go in. Your mileage may vary depending on your printer tolerances. Adjust scale as needed.  You'll need to source a spring for the button. I just sacrificed old pens to get what I needed and cut the springs to size. This is the same basic idea as the other Ultra Ball Pokebox that I have, but I reversed the hinge on it to open like an actual Pokeball. Or at the very least, how I kept trying to open it as I used it! I decided to create a new design instead of putting these files into the previous design so I wouldn't bloat the files and cause any confusion. Same instructions and parameters as the other as well.

Instructions:

Slicing done with Ultimaker Cura

I printed everything at .16 layer height because I wanted a finer end product for my deck box that required very little post processing

The Ultra Ball Insert, Ring, Catch, and Button were printed at 100% infill.

The Base, Lid, and top/bottom Lööps were printed at 5% Gyroid infill with 3 perimeters.

Supports were needed for the lööps, the button, and the Lid itself. The button could probably have been printed with no supports, but like I said I wanted very little post processing. 

For the combined lööp and bottom, I used the same parameters as above!

Oh! And don't print the assembled model. Tis just for reference!

(https://thangs.com/designer/3dprintingworld/3d-model/Pokebox%20Card%20holder-28215) Since I'm a Commander player in Magic The Gathering, I needed a case that would hold at least 100 Dragon Sleeved cards and this one would not. To that end, I expanded the model pieces to fit my needs while keeping the glory that is the Ultra Ball from my previous remix. For now it is just the Ultra Ball version, but I will put the enlarged version of a ‘standard’ pokeball top in there as soon as I get the chance. The pieces that I have edited include everything but the Ring, Button, and Lid Catch.

I added a combined loop that with a separate bottom that eliminates the gap from trying to glue the loops together. I had already combined the loops before I saw that How2Texan had pretty much the same thing for the version of this model that fits Switch game cards. I borrowed the bottom section that holds the button just to make life easier! Link to the inspiration below and I'll toss the whole thing into the remix section as well.
