Python Plug

The original twist in plugs for the Python AMS Enclosure are great, but the tolerance is a bit tight, and they are a pain in the fingers to twist in and out. I wanted something that would keep a good seal like the original plugs but be easier to put in. I designed these using one of the rear models of the enclosure for reference and printed them in Polymaker's PolyFlex TPU 90. They slotted in perfectly and can be easily pushed back out from the inside. I didn't size them down, so they fit like a glove… at least on my enclosure.

I have included 3 models:

  1. The Python Plug for any of the spots that you just want to close off.

  2. A PTFE tube version (i may decide to redesign this one to angle it downward but it seems to be working just fine so *Shrugs.

  3. A power cable version with 2 variations. -- One has a cut down the middle of one side to allow you to insert the cable. I printed this one and it was easy enough to pull the split open by hand and insert the cable. -- The other has no cut but I don't think you would be able to push the plug through so you would likely have to cut it with a razor blade.

Original Credit to humebeam for making the awesome Python AMS.
