This stretchy snake is simple but super fun 🙌🏼

Important You will need blue painter's tape and 1mm or 1.2mm stretchy elastic craft cord. Here is an Amazon link for the elastic cord I used: https://amzn.to/3SVt4Ku

3D Print Settings Layer Height 0.2mm PLA works great 20% Infill (or more) No supports or brim needed. Dimensions: 9 7/8 inches x 1 inch x 1/8 inch (thickness)

Note: I do not recommend scaling the print smaller. The inner track (which you lay down the stretchy cord in) is designed to be used with the 1mm - 1.2mm stretchy elastic cord only.

Printing instructions: Add a “pause print” command at the following layer 13 (layer height 2.6mm) to insert stretchy elastic cord. (See photo)

How to Insert Stretchy Elastic Cord When the print is paused at 2.6mm layer height, lay the cord within the inside track. You only need one piece of cord slightly longer than twice the length of the snake. Lay the cord into the track starting at the mouth, then all the way down to the tall, wrapping the cord around the last tail piece and then down the other side of the track and out the mouth. Allow an inch or two of extra cord to extend out the mouth of the snake and tape the cord pieces securely in place. Once secured, resume the print. After the print is done, carefully pull on each piece of cord to tighten the cord and tie the two pieces together. Then trim the cord as desired (you can leave a little out to look like a tongue:)
