**Makeup Brush Organizer**
(and it can spin if you want)
My wife wanted a better way to organize her makeup brushes, so here's an organizer.

This one easily holds 25 brushes of varying sizes (as seen on pictures).
I've split the model into 3 parts - Main body + 2 parts for spinning base.

Main body is quite large, has 135mm in diameter and is around 131mm tall. Spinning base adds another 12mm to the total height.

Body and base are 5-way symmetrical, so as long as grooves match up you're good.
Up to you if you want it to spin or not.
Spinning base uses a single standard 608ZZ bearing.
(you might want to print bearing-fit-test to verify if it will fit correctly)

There's a very slight wobble, since the model is wide compared to a single bearing in the middle, but it really doesn't affect functionality in negative way.

Main body is quite large. Took around 198g of filament to print, so please make sure you have everything dialed in before commiting to the print.

Your cat(s) deserve the freshest canned meat product and nobody wants old cat food lurking in the back of their cabinets. This dispenser serves up your cans in first-in, first-out order. The dispenser prints without supports and no hardware or glue is required for assembly.

**Design**
- Holds 8 3oz cans per dispenser (note: tested with Fancy Feast cans which have about a 66mm diameter and a 37mm height - you may want to check your cans before printing if you prefer a different brand)
- Cans roll smoothly from top to bottom for easy loading
- Fits in a 12in deep cabinet
- Slim profile makes it easy to fit multiple dispensers side-by-side
- Printable on a 180x180mm print bed (e.g., Bambu A1 Mini, Prusa Mini)

**Dimensions (LxWxH)**
280.5x47.6x172.8mm

**Print settings**
Nothing special. I test printed with PLA and slicer defaults. STLs are oriented as recommended for printing.

**Assembly**
Assemble by sliding the corresponding dovetails together. When assembled correctly, your pieces should all sit flush on both the interior and exterior surfaces. The dovetails should be a fairly tight fit.

1. Print all four components (left front, left back, right front, right back)
2. Attach left front to left back and right front to right back by sliding the dovetails together. Ensure all 3 dovetails are engaged on each side. You may find it easiest to partially engage the larger dovetail at the bottom before aligning the middle and top dovetails.
3. Attach the left half to the right half by sliding each set of dovetails in from the bottom. You may again find it easiest to start from the bottom. Just make sure top, middle, and bottom dovetails are secure front to back.

**Notes**
- If you have a larger printer, I'd love your help in testing out additional sizes. I may also do a 12 can version in 6 parts if there's interest!
- If you plan to remix this, be aware that most cans aren't simple cylinders. In real life, the cans sit at a slight angle due to the lip around the top. This increases their total width by enough to make a difference. The design accommodates this to avoid an otherwise dispenser-jamming amount of friction between the cans and the side wall.

An art deco-style hexagram lamp that uses the [Maker's Supply LED Lamp Kit 001](https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/led-lamp-kit-001).  The lattice frame is patterned with decorative hexagrams, giving it the appearance of a delicately-carved wooden art piece.  The interior contains a “shade” that is used to help diffuse the light and gives the lamp a fascinating glow, which in my opinion makes it look like it's filled with some sort of mystical energy.

I'm excited to see the different material and color combinations you all use with this model, so please share lots of photos!

**Printing & Assembly Tips**
No supports are needed.  I recommend using a brim on the lattice, mainly because it is a fairly long print so you'll want to make sure its secure to the bed to avoid any failures late in the print.  I also recommend using a wider line width for the shade if you choose to use translucent PETG.

Assembly is pretty easy.
1. Attach the LED lamp kit to the cutout on the base with the double-sided tape that comes in the kit.
     - Make sure the wire goes through the side with the cutout.
2. Slide the lattice into position on the base.
3. Slide the shade into the lattice - it will rest on the bottom of the lattice and won't actually contact the base.
4. Snap on the lid.
5. Bask in the glow of your new lamp!
