How do I customize this?
This is an OpenSCAD project. OpenSCAD is a script-based modeling software specifically created for projects like this that need to be customizable.
If you're new to the program, it may look strange at first, but most of the work is just typing values into a form or selecting customization options from a dropdown list. You do not need to know any programming or write a single line code to use OpenSCAD.
Once you've entered everything you need, you can export an STL file for printing. Here's a helpful video that walks through the entire process!
Fonts
Openscad can use almost any font installed on your computer!
Select Font List from the Help menu. Copy the font you want into the appropriate field (remove any surrounding double quotes)
By default, the file uses the Liberation Sans font which comes with OpenScad.
Customization Options
Parts Which parts to print.
Display Duplicates Select "Display Duplicates" to see all stand parts.
Swatch Width Width of largest swatch or card stored on this stand.
Swatch Height Height of largest swatch or card stored on this stand.
Swatch Preview Include a preview of swatches on this stand. Disable this on export.
Axle Tolerance Space between axle and tightly fitting parts.
Axle Guide Peg Holes Add guide peg holes to axle.
Stand Thickness Thickness of all stand parts.
Stand Tolerance Space between stand parts.
Stand Text Text to display on the stand.
Stand Text Font Font to display stand text in.
Wheel Diameter Diameter of wheel that holds swatches. Use a smaller diameter for few swatches and increase as needed.
