Baby Krishna with Mother Yashoda -[Easy to Print Filament Painting]

Simple to print, you dont need a multi colour AMS or MMU unit. All you need is black and white filament. This will print in any FDM printer capable of printing 0.08 layer height.

This filament painting is created with Steve Lavitas' brilliant Hueforge software. It creates beautiful colour 3D prints from images. Photos dont do justice to the prints, they have to be seen and felt to be appreciated. The original image was converted to black and white and optimised for Hueforge.

**About the Model:**
Created from a popular Hare Krishna painting by Muralidhara Dasa (1979). Krishna appeared as the son of Devaki and Vasudeva in the prison of King Kamsa. For His safety He was transferred to the nearby village of Vrindavana where He grew up as the foster son of Mother Yasoda and Nanda Maharaja. This painting shows Mother Yasoda with baby Krishna.

**Printing Instructions:**

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Filaments Used:
PLA+ Esun Black Transmission Distance: 2.6
PLA+ Esun White Transmission Distance: 10

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #6 (0.56mm) swap to White for the rest. This can be easily configured on your slicer when slicing.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: **For colour accuracy you will need to print with with white filament with a Transmission Distance (TD) of 10. The TD of the black does'nt seem to matter. But dont worry, just use ESUN White and Black. I chose Esun because that brand seems to be universally available across the world. You will have the same result with ANY white filament with a TD of 10. To find the TD of your filament check out:

The settings mean that the supports are securely attached and become part of the model.

Set supports to 'organic' or 'tree'.
Set your support z distance to zero.
Set supports to 'touching buildplate'
Add a raft at least 2 layers thick.

OPTIONAL: Try playing with the branch and threshold angles and branch and tip diameter to change the look of the tree.

Yashoda with Krishna, Epitome of Motherly Love

The relationship between Yashoda and Sri Krishna is one of the most celebrated mother-son relationships in Hindu Culture. Yashoda’s unfathomable love for Krishna has inspired many works of art. She is an integral part of Krishna’s childhood lilas.Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva. But as fate would have it, it was Yashoda and Nanda who brought Him up. So, it was not Devaki but Yashoda who could witness all the beautiful lilas of Sri Krishna as He turned into a magnificent youth who mesmerised everyone who came in contact with Him.
The relationship between Yashoda and Sri Krishna is not just a bond between a mother and her son. In a way, Mother Yashoda is also one of the most ardent devotees of Sri Krishna. What begins as ‘Vatsalya Prem’ (love for her son) evolves into ‘Vatsalya Bhakti’ (devotion of a mother).
