These models require an intermediate to advanced experience level to set up and print. 

The models with very thin structures use very little material to print but are delicate and require extra care when printing and processing.

To print, rotate the model 180 degrees upside down so that the top of the skull is oriented to the build plate. The skull is tilted slightly forward to reduce the need for internal supports. If you maintain the forward tilt of the skull you will only need to generate support to the top of the head. The rest of the model will print without the need for supports inside of the skull.


Architected Skull (Gyroid)

This skull is part of a series that demonstrates three of the architecting features in nTopology software.

In this series, the Gyroid Triply Periodic Minimal Surface, Face Centered Cubic Lattice and Hexagonal Honeycomb unit cells have been applied to a conformal cell map derived from the outer surface of the skull. Using this technique allows the structures to follow the bone contours and converge on the front and back of the skull.

Remixed a model from [Serhero ](https://www.thingiverse.com/serhero/designs) on thingiverse. 
Smoothed edges, reworked reliefs, add some extra bulk around the eyes for support when actually wearing it.

Printed it vertically on a Longer LK5 Pro
Specs:
- PEI steel bed at 65C, nozzle 207C
Initial layer 65/210C respectively.
- Layer Height 0.15
- 10% infill / Gyroid
- Speed 60 / infill 65 / outer wall 35 / inner wall 40
- Travel speed 180
- Tree supports everywhere
- 8mm Brim (needed for supports to stick)
