What a spooky Springo!

Print at .15mm layer height and separate spring manually after printing. No supports required!

100% infill is recommended. Results vary by slicer, but basically make sure the layers above and below the small Springo gaps are printing solid (Simplify3D recognizes these as top and bottom layers so you can use a lower infill, but Cura won't recognize the layers as top/bottom, and therefor prints infill instead of solid).

You can use a glow-in-the-dark filament like [Polymaker Blue Glow PLA](https://amzn.to/3KtK8mB) for a cool effect!

As the time slips away through a long boring day you may find that your fingers are growing quite bored.  You may reach for a widget but it doesn't quite fidget like the fun little friend in your pocket that's stored.  

So put that phone away and delightfully play with this witchy  and whiskered fun companion that can only be known by its true name alone, and that moniker is the **Witch Hat Snappy Cat**.

Witch Hat Snappy Cat is the newest playful pet on the prowl in the Snap-Flex collection.

This articulated fidget toy integrates the Mimetics 3D "Snap-Flex" joint. This allows Snappy Cat to both move smoothly, mimicking the fluid motion of living creatures, AND stabilize in a firm pose, providing a premium fidgeting experience. Each **SNAP** will resonate as a symphony of satisfaction to your ears, confirming your masterful manipulations.

Snappy Cat is the fourth creation in a series of Snap-Flex models by Mimetics 3D, and it's available for free for a limited time.


**Tolerance:**
To accommodate different printer settings and filaments, I’m uploading 3 different tolerance levels for Snappy Cat to ensure that you get the best fitting, most satisfying “SNAP” with each of your prints.

This is the **Loose** tolerance model.  For the other tolerances, please check out the other versions of the model below:

**Print Settings:**
0.2mm Layer Height
3 Wall Loops
3 Top Shell Layers
No Supports, Print-In-Place at 100% scale.  Going any smaller may disable the Snap-Flex joint.

These tolerances are TIGHT and you'll likely have to snap each segment a few times before it's loose enough to snap/unsnap easily. I recommend you use regular PLA or PLA+. ABS might be even better, but I haven't tried it yet.

Silk PLA is a bit softer and may not click as nicely. I'd also be more concerned about silk PLA holding up to the wear and tear.
If you print this in resin, please let me know how it turns out. I imagine you would need a more flexible/less stiff resin for it to work appropriately.
