Maul's Collapsing Lightsaber 

**Maul’s Print-in-place Collapsing Lightsaber**
_Print-in-Place Version_

Each half of this double lightsaber is designed to be printed all as one part as a single print-in-place assembly containing both the hilt and the blade. There is a connector for attaching both saber together.

**Printing**
Supports are not required, there is a built in support for the switchs. I have detailed instructions on [how to print collapsing swords](https://www.dddprintingworld.com/pages/printing-collapsible-lightsabers-and-swords) on my website. If this is your first time printing, I would suggest you try the [test print]( https://social.thangs.com/m/23601) first.

Remix of Standing Caterpillar (Hairify version)

This caterpillar looks great standing straight up or crawling around on those little legs. 

I designed this guy specifically for the Thangs/MakerTales #hairify contest. Checkout the hairy version here.

This model should be printed in the standing position without support. Good bed adhesion is necessary, so I highly suggest using an adhesion promoter and a large brim.

Two Front Teeth Ornament

This quirky and creepy bauble is inspired by the song “All I want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth,” and by the popular “Tree and Bauble” models of Thangs designer 3DPrintBunny: https://thangs.com/designer/3dprintbunny

Once printed, the teeth wiggle loose in the sockets.

Print file as oriented, add supports for the teeth and the top swivel hook. Once printed, carefully remove the supports, and twist the teeth and swivel hook loose. You will need to download the tree, base and hook separately from https://thangs.com/designer/3dprintbunny.

Twist Tree.stl

This tree decoration has captive print-in-place ornaments. Once printed they twist loose and rotate freely within the boughs of the tree.

This design is particularly suited to printing with multicolour filament as rotating the ornaments allows for visualization of the different filament colours.

This model features the tricolour “Silk Red & Green & Blue” filament by Eryone.

This is an advanced print requiring a well calibrated machine and quality filament. Good layer adhesion is important.

Print the tree upside-down with the top portion fully supported. 

Once printed, allow the print to cool. Wiggle each ornament back and forth until it breaks from the small internal supports.  Twist it a few times until it turns smoothly.

If an ornament does break off while twisting it loose, you can just glue it back in place.
