Captain America 45 Record Adapter

If you are a fan of vinyl records and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you will love this 3D printable model of a 45 record adapter with a Captain America shield design. This adapter lets you play your 7 inch records with a larger hole on a standard record player. It also shows off your patriotic spirit and admiration for the first Avenger.

The model is designed to print in four colors using pause at height. The base is white and the top has three red circles, a blue center and a white or silver star. The shield design on the top makes it look like a miniature version of Captain America’s iconic weapon. The model is 1.5 inches (38mm) around with a 9/32 inch (3,57mm) hole in the center.

To print this model, you will need a 3D printer that supports pause at height and dual extrusion. You can use any filament type and color that you like, but I recommend PLA for ease of printing and durability. You will also need some slicer software that can generate the gcode for your printer.

The model is easy to print and does not require any supports or rafts. You can adjust the layer height and infill according to your preferences, but I suggest using 0.2 mm layer height and 20% infill for good quality and strength. The print time should be around 20 minutes depending on your settings.

To print in four colors, you will need to pause the print at different heights and change the filament color. You can do this manually or use a plugin or script that automates the process for you. For example, if you use Cura as your slicer software, you can use the post-processing plugin to add pause at height commands at layers 10 (white), 15 (red), 20 (blue) and 25 (white or silver) (assuming you use 0.2 mm layer height). Then you can swap the filament color accordingly and resume the print.

Once the print is done, you can remove it from the bed and enjoy your new Captain America record adapter. You can use it to play your favorite songs or display it as a cool decoration.

This is a keychain inspired by the Ms Marvel TV Series Logo. It's a simple design with the logo centered in the middle of the keychain.

Ms. Marvel is an American television miniseries created by Bisha K. Ali for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics featuring the character Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel. It is the seventh television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. It follows Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old fangirl of the Avengers, particularly Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, who struggles to fit in until she gains her own powers. Ali serves as head writer with Adil & Bilall (Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah) leading the directing team.

You can use any material to print this keychain: PLA, ABS, TPU, ASA, PETG, PVA, Nylon,...
You can print it in a single color or do a color change after layer 7 or 1.4mm, for my taste it looks much better in two colors.
