Slithering straight from the catacombs just in time for Halloween, this Bone Snake aspires to be the spine-chilling superstar of serpents! With its skeletal allure, it's more than ready to coil up and become the eerie centerpiece of your haunted decor or strike a ghoulish pose for you and your friends.  This little one can't sit back and watch the ghosts, ghouls, and dragons have all the fall-time fun on their own.

This versatile, articulated fidget toy features the Mimetics 3D “Snap-Flex” joint, enabling each body segment to move fluidly OR lock into a fixed position for an optimized fidget experience.  The sound of the *SNAP* provides pleasing auditory and tactile feedback that you're doing something right.  

To unlock a jaw-dropping good time after printing, pinch the sides of the Sleek-Eyed Bone Snake's jaws together until they click and free up its cute little maw.

This Bone Snake is the second creation in a series of Snap-Flex models by Mimetics 3D, and it's available for free for a limited time.

**Tolerance:**
To accommodate different printer settings and filaments, I’m uploading 3 different tolerance levels for the Bone Snake to ensure that you get the best fitting, most satisfying “SNAP” with each of your prints.
This is the *Medium* tolerance model.  For the other tolerances, please check out the other versions of the model below:

**Print Settings:**
0.2mm Layer Height
3 Wall Loops
3 Top Shell Layers
No Supports, Print-In-Place at 100% scale.  Going any smaller may disable the Snap-Flex joint.

These tolerances are TIGHT and you'll likely have to snap each segment a few times before it's loose enough to snap/unsnap easily. I recommend you use regular PLA or PLA+. ABS might be even better, but I haven't tried it yet.

Silk PLA is a bit softer and may not click as nicely. I'd also be more concerned about silk PLA holding up to the wear and tear.
If you print this in resin, please let me know how it turns out. I imagine you would need a more flexible/less stiff resin for it to work appropriately.

Star Wars (Inspired) "Sith Sunset to Sunrise" HueForge Darth Vader

Darth Vader loves watching sunrises (and sunsets). Hates long walks on the beach, however.

In the early morning hours, before the galaxy awoke, Vader would venture to a secluded spot on a remote planet, far from the prying eyes of the Empire. As the first rays of sunlight pierced the horizon, he would watch as darkness gave way to a kaleidoscope of hues. The vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples painted the sky, and for a brief moment, Vader could almost forget the weight of his responsibilities.

Similarly, in the evening, after a grueling day of commanding his forces, Vader would retreat to the privacy of his meditation chamber. With its dimly lit ambiance, he would take a moment to reflect as the sun dipped below the horizon. The colors shifted and deepened, casting a soft glow that mirrored the turmoil and conflict within him. It was during these sunsets that Vader allowed himself a glimpse of the person he once was, before he became consumed by the darkness.

In these quiet moments, Darth Vader found solace and a connection to a world beyond his own. The sunrises and sunsets reminded him of the beauty that still existed in the universe, even amidst the chaos and destruction. They were a reminder of the light he had lost and the possibility of redemption, however distant it may seem. And as he stood there, entranced by the shifting sky, a flicker of hope ignited within the dark heart of Darth Vader.

These models require an intermediate to advanced experience level to set up and print. 

The models with very thin structures use very little material to print but are delicate and require extra care when printing and processing.

To print, rotate the model 180 degrees upside down so that the top of the skull is oriented to the build plate. The skull is tilted slightly forward to reduce the need for internal supports. If you maintain the forward tilt of the skull you will only need to generate support to the top of the head. The rest of the model will print without the need for supports inside of the skull.
