Abominable Snowman - Ornament
Dangly Leg Bumble Christmas Ornament Bumble the Abominable Snowman from the old Rankin and Bass Rodolph television specials. When my buddy Matt @PatenaudePrints showed me his design for a dangly leg Rudolph, the vision of this cute round monster popped into my head fully formed. Clearly not alone in my enthusiasm, Brian of BV3D contacted me because my initial model wasn't playing friendly with multicolor printing, so after a little trial and error, this also became my first multicolor 3d Model.
PRINT IN PLACE UPRIGHT This model is designed to be printed upright (standing on his feet) with the legs printed inside the globe of the body. the legs cannot be inserted into the body after printing. When opening these models in your slicer software, import them as a single model with multiple parts.
Originally released in partnership with INSPYR3D
Release Note: This model will be shared for free through the end of the year while I set up a proper Thangs Membership, so get it while you can.

Having a hard time with this model in slicer the inside of model is overlapping with blue on the bridge of his nose
After slicing it, you can see the eyes are just floating in space on the multicolor file
This looks amazing. I've got to know where the matching Rudolph is! I couldn't find it on the linked account.
My eyes also encountered a glitch. I hope it gets resolved soon; it's such an adorable feature such as change language.
Eyes failed for me too. i hope it gets fixed, it is so cute.
Same issue here too - the eyes failed
Im having the same issue as dallen0029 above, the eyes are a single wall and fail :/
Can you make the inside of the model thicker? At least behind the eyes, they printed as single wall and failed. Everything else turned out pretty good
Blerg! I’m super sorry for the printing errors. I didn’t notice these comments until a recent Thangs UI change. It went through several revisions last year and I must have uploaded the wrong file.
Thank you all for the feedback. I’ll get this fixed right away, but I don’t imagine anyone will have this on their printers for 10 months or so. If you all make sure your profiles have a social account link on them I’ll find a way to thank you for trying out my print.
