This is an RCA pedestal to repair a classic Yamaha MX-600/800/1000 amplifier and probably other models, as well. Using this simple part, it is easy to swap in generic RCA connectors for the factory RCA pedestal which frequently breaks. If you have had the outer sleeve of an RCA pull off the back of your amp, you need to fix the RCA pedestal. This approach retains the factory protection board.
Don't forget to swap the 1uF electrolytic on the protection board, while you're in there.
