I designed and printed a ventilation hood that will extract the smoke from cutting oil or coolant. If you want to avoid breathing smoke and you have a Hardinge lathe, print this. The print attaches to the spindle nose guard via McMaster brass heat set threaded inserts #97171A210. Attach a 3" hose to some sort of suction, ideally a mist collector. Dust collectors, vacuums or fans will also work.
