Procera

Her sisters used to joke that she had given herself that name. Procera is the second oldest sister of the Homines Fungorum, after the Queen. However, she tends to forget that sometimes and quietly sits on the throne whenever Her Majesty is not around.

Always proud and dignified—or arrogant, depending on who you ask. But she is certainly the wisest of all the Mushroom Fairies. After all, not everyone can become the Prime Minister of their own country, right?

Her main responsibility is making sure everything is in order—or, in other words, interfering in all of her sisters' work. Have the ants been counted? Is the fog too thick? Are the swords properly polished? She even tried to lecture the Queen once. Only once.

Every day she delivers reports to her older sister, and no one can deny how thorough they are. The truth is, although Procera can be quite a nuisance, everything in the kingdom runs smoothly thanks to her. No one knows where she gets all that energy. She even surpasses her sisters in magic. While each of them commands only one type of magic, Procera can cast both water and fire spells, although the latter is not particularly appreciated in this land for obvious reasons. It did, however, prove useful during the war against the goblins 150 years ago. You could smell burnt goblin from miles away. Humans even use the expression "burnt goblin" to describe someone who smells particularly bad.

Since she cannot be everywhere at once, despite her ability to travel quickly, she is assisted by members of a lower order of her own species, commonly known as Pufflings. They are not particularly clever, but they are incredibly lazy and completely devoted to Procera. Her personal assistant—because of course she has one—is Pilo. He never leaves her side. He is always the first to speak with his fellow Pufflings, sorting information into what is important and what can wait. Somehow, he also manages to do the laundry and brush Procera's hair.
