A rugged snap-on case designed specifically for the Pebble Time 2.

My original Pebble Time 2 covers were designed to add light protection while preserving as much of the watch’s original appearance as possible. This model takes a different approach.

The rugged case wraps around substantially more of the watch body and uses thicker outer edges to provide greater coverage and protection. Because it grips more of the body, it is also the strongest and most secure-fitting Pebble Time 2 case I have designed.

During testing, the increased body coverage and retention design proved noticeably more secure than any of my previous Pebble Time 2 cover designs.

It does hide more of the original watch and creates a larger, more substantial profile. That is an intentional trade-off. This model is for people who prioritise protection, secure retention and a rugged appearance over keeping the watch as slim and exposed as possible.

RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

For the best detail, dimensional accuracy and fit:

• Nozzle: 0.2 mm recommended
• Layer height: 0.08 mm
• 5 mm brim to help keep the model securely attached to the build plate
• Material: PLA or another suitably rigid filament
• Print speed: Slow, particularly for outer walls and small details
• Supports: None when using the supplied orientation
• Scaling: 100%

Unlike my other, more delicate Pebble Time 2 covers, this design was intentionally created with thicker walls and features that make it far more forgiving to print. It prints well with a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.08 mm layer height, making it suitable for many commercial printing services and users who do not have access to a 0.2 mm nozzle, though I still prefer the cleaner appearance produced by a 0.2 mm nozzle.

Because this is a close-fitting functional model, printer calibration, material, flow rate and build-plate adhesion can affect the finished fit.

INSTALLATION

Unlike my other designs, this cover pushes straight onto the watch and easily snaps into position.

Installing the bottom side first and then snapping the top side into place tends to work best.

The increased body coverage gives this model a particularly strong hold. Do not use excessive force during installation or removal, especially when using brittle filament.

Choose this rugged case when your priorities are:

• Maximum practical coverage
• The strongest possible fit
• Better protection against everyday bumps and knocks
• A substantial, rugged watch appearance

Choose one of my low-profile Pebble Time 2 covers when your priority is retaining more of the watch’s original appearance and keeping the overall profile as slim as possible.

CHANGES

V1.02 - 23 June 2026

The original button openings felt slightly too narrow for my fingers, so this version adds larger openings with small raised bezels around the buttons. This makes the buttons easier and more comfortable to press, particularly for anyone with larger fingers. See uploaded photos, original design still included. PLEASE NOTE - the printed version of this cover on Thangs will be of the original version WITHOUT the bezels.
