Rock Bolt Mechanical Interlocking Trial Model
(Note: The original file names are in Turkish. "Kaya saplaması delik deneme" translates to "Rock Bolt Hole Trial".)
This model is designed to represent a mining-type rough borehole for rock bolt applications. It features a specialized inner texture to simulate the mechanical interlocking (interlocking) between the grout, the bolt, and the rock surface.
Credits & Attribution: Special thanks to Stefan from CNC Kitchen for his incredible work. This model was processed using the Bumpmesh.com tool to achieve realistic surface roughness.
💡 Slicer Tip: When using the final STL file (Kaya saplaması delik deneme_Crystal_amp1p00.stl), please right-click the model in your slicer and select "Split to Objects". This will allow you to manage the split parts easily for a flat-on-bed printing strategy.
Technical Specifications:
Dimensions: 70 mm Outer Diameter / 24 mm Inner Hole / 100 mm Length. Compatibility: The 24 mm hole is specifically sized to accommodate a standard 12 mm rock bolt (rebar), leaving realistic clearance for grout and drilling tolerance. Magnet Pockets: Designed for 17.2 mm magnets (17.5 mm diameter / 3.3 mm depth). Texture Details: Amplitude 1.00 mm / Scale U-V 0.3 (Cylindrical Projection).
File Formats: I have included STL and 3MF files so you can print it immediately or use them in your slicing software.
Files Included:
