These are the Bookmark Blades — a set of four highly detailed sword bookmarks designed to look like miniature fantasy weapons while still functioning as thin, practical bookmarks.

Each blade is only 3mm thick, making them slim enough to sit comfortably inside your books while still showcasing a surprising amount of sculpted detail.

The collection includes four unique designs:

Dragon Blade – A fierce dragon-themed sword. This version also includes an alternate model that accepts a 12mm glass dragon eye for an extra dramatic look.

Royal Blade – A regal sword with ornate detailing, perfect when printed in metallic filaments like gold or silver.

Iceborne Blade – A blade that looks frozen in ice, with jagged crystalline textures along the edge.

Forgotten Blade – A weathered sword wrapped in creeping vines, as if it has been left behind in ancient ruins.

On my Bambu Lab A1 Combo, each bookmark prints in about 2 hours at high detail and uses only about 30 grams of filament, making them extremely efficient to produce.

For my commercial license holders, these make fantastic items to batch print and sell. The low filament usage combined with quick print times gives them excellent margins, and they’re the kind of fantasy-themed item readers and collectors love.

I printed mine using a variety of sparkle, silk, and metallic filaments, and I recommend experimenting with colors to see what works best for you.

I hope you enjoy printing them!

Print Settings

Recommended settings:

• Layer Height: 0.08mm (important for capturing the fine detail) • Walls: 2 • Infill: 10% Gyroid

Because the blades are so thin, printing at 0.08mm layer height is strongly recommended to preserve the small sculpted features.

Filament Usage

Approximate usage per bookmark:

• ~30g filament per bookmark • ~2 hours print time on a Bambu Lab A1

At typical filament costs, this comes out to roughly $0.80 of filament per bookmark, making them very efficient to produce.

Happy Printing! -Christian, @CraftyKid3D
