Kaake Kaak – The Most Adorable 3D Printed Duck!
Meet Kaake Kaak, your new favorite "Chonky" friend! This cute little duck is designed to be versatile—you can print it in multiple colors or hand-paint it to add your personal touch.
**My Print Settings & Finish: **To achieve the look in the photos, I used a mix of textures:
The Body: Printed in White PLA using the "Fuzzy Skin" setting to give it that soft, feathery feel.
Beak & Feet: Printed in Orange PLA with standard smooth settings for a realistic contrast.
The Eyes: Printed separately in Black.
Post-Processing: I applied a layer of UV Resin to the eyes and beak, curing them for 10 minutes under UV light for a high-gloss finish. For the nostrils, I used a touch of Black Acrylic Paint before applying the resin.
****Optimized for Bambu Lab Users: 🚀 ****In addition to the STL files, I have included .3mf files specifically for Bambu Studio users. These are pre-configured with the ideal orientation and print settings, so you can just drag, drop, and start printing immediately!
**Assembly & Printing Tips: **I’ve optimized this model for easy printing and assembly. I recommend printing in three separate plates:
Plate 1: The Body (requires very minimal supports).
Plate 2: The Beak and Feet.
Plate 3: The Eyes.
📏 Scalability: This model is fully scalable! Just remember to apply the same scale percentage to ALL parts (body, beak, feet, and eyes) so the snap-fit assembly remains perfect.
**🛠 Assembly Notes: ** The Beak: Designed for a "snap-fit." It just needs a firm press to click into place (glue is optional!).
The Feet: I recommend adding two small drops of superglue before attaching them. Please refer to the photos for the correct orientation to ensure the duck is perfectly balanced and stable.
**Show Me Your Creativity! **This model has been tested and printed multiple times to ensure a flawless experience. I can’t wait to see your color combinations and creative finishes!
