XL Leprechaun (for larger build plates above 300x300x300)
XL Leprechaun for larger build plates above 300 by 300 by 300 XL Leprechaun Assembly Guide The XL Leprechaun is designed specifically for large format printers with a build volume of at least 300 by 300 by 300 millimeters. If you have a smaller printer, please download the Not So XL Leprechaun version instead. Quick Printing Specs Supports are required. Set the support threshold to 26 to minimize cleanup. Advanced users may prefer manual support painting. Infill recommendations are as follows. Large pieces should use 5 to 6 percent infill. Small pieces and connectors should use 10 to 12 percent infill. All Left and Right directions are from the model’s perspective looking outward, not from your perspective when viewing the model. Fitment and Scaling Always perform a dry fit before applying glue. If connector cavities were supported, they may fit tightly. If you experience fitment issues, reduce the connector scale by 1 to 2 percent. If you scale the entire model down, tolerances will also shrink. It is recommended to print a test piece and its connector first. Scale the connector down an additional 1 to 2 percent until the fit is correct. Suggested Filaments Recommended colors include green, orange, white, maroon red, brown, gold, beige for skin, and additional green tones. For the rock and base, cement grey and rainbow style filament work well. The Build Process Phase 1 The Base and Legs First assemble the base. Choose either the plain grass base or the shamrock base. If using the shamrock base, insert the large shamrock into the rock, place the rock onto the base, and then fit the smaller shamrocks into their slots. Next assemble the boots. Insert the base to leg connectors, slide the left and right boots into place, and insert the two boot buckles. Attach the legs by sliding them onto the boot connectors. Phase 2 The Torso and Arms Insert the two small body connectors and attach the main body to the legs. For the arms and hands, insert the arm connectors and then attach the left and right arms. Insert the arm to hand connectors and attach the hands. The left hand may feel loose during the dry fit. Insert the shirt piece into the front of the main body. Insert two body to head connectors and one body to back hair connector into the top of the torso. Set this assembly aside. Phase 3 The Head Sub Assembly Insert the two face to back hair connectors into the rear of the face. Insert the beard to face connectors into the underside of the face. Slide the back hair into place. Slide the beard upward onto the face. You may need to push slightly to clear the cheeks. Insert the side hair connectors and press the side hair into place. Insert both eyebrows before attaching the front hair. The front hair sits on top of the left eyebrow. Assemble the eyes in the following order. First insert the outer black pieces, then the white pieces, then the blue pieces. Next insert the inner black pieces, making sure left and right are correct. Finally place the white reflections at the top left of each eye. Phase 4 Final Assembly Place the completed head onto the connectors on the main body. Assemble the hat by inserting two hat connectors and sliding on the brim. Add the hat stripe. Insert two more connectors and attach the hat top. Attach the small buckle to the hat. Glue the buttons onto the front of the shirt. These cannot be dry fitted. Place either the single coin or multiple coins into the black pot and slot it into the right hand. Congratulations. You have completed the XL Leprechaun build.

Great Print jtoddmess! What did you use for his eyes? Or how did you get the hazel like appearance?
