Printability & Design Notes This model has been optimized for straightforward printing on Bambu Lab printers, with considerations for both single-color simplicity and AMS-enhanced multi-color aesthetics.

  • Orientation: Print the model upright (on its base) for optimal strength and minimal support requirements. This orientation ensures the best surface finish on the visible exterior and robust structural integrity.
  • Supports: Minimal supports are recommended. Due to some slight overhangs (e.g., under the chin, inside the tail curl), tree supports (auto) from the build plate are highly recommended for easy removal and cleaner results on these areas. Ensure support enforcers are used only if specific areas prove problematic, but auto-generated tree supports should suffice for most machines.
  • Layer Height: For a good balance of detail and print speed, a 0.2mm layer height is generally ideal. If you desire even finer details on the cat's features and a smoother finish, a 0.16mm layer height will yield excellent results, albeit with a slightly longer print time.
