Simple base I designed for a pair of calipers I bought literarily decades ago in a flea market. Excellent quality and stamped "Made in W. Germany". The design seems to have lived on as I have now seen several models from a variety of manufacturers that look identical, so this base will probably fit them as well.

A bit more detail: -Minimal footprint: very little additional space is needed to place and retrieve the calipers. -Couldn’t be easier to place and remove the tool, yet it’s very secure once it’s in place. -The screws sit beneath the face of the holder. This, in addition to the 3d printed material, ensures your tool won't be scratched.

Printing tips: Orientation as is: standing up and with the front of the model facing the front of the printer. Set seams to "rear" to hide them as much as possible on the face that we won't be seeing. 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height. I used PLA with 15% infill.
