Interwoven Rings and Strap Tote Bag
When I saw the Strong TPU Strap by Turbopstros (https://www.printables.com/model/1451354-strong-tpu-strap-parametric), I had a vision. That's where this bag comes in. I created my version of the TPU strap which is in this file. Join me in creating a stunning, unique tote bag with this 3D-printed kit! This project combines 60 PLA flat rings with flexible TPU straps and a sturdy 3D-printed bag base to form a chic, interwoven design. The final product is a durable and stylish bag, perfect for carrying your essentials. If you choose, you can add a lined pouch for added privacy.
This design is a great way to blend 3D printing with crafting, using simple leather rivets to hold the beautiful braided structure in place.

Detailed Video Instruction: For a step-by-step visual guide, please check out the linked video instruction on my YouTube channel
Assembly Steps:
Prepare the Strips: Cut the 4 printed TPU strips into the lengths specified above for the handles, horizontal body, and vertical body strips.
Attach Handles and Vertical Strips to Base: Slide the 2 handles and the 8 13-inch strips into the slots around the bag base. Punch holes and attach these strips evenly around the perimeter of the bag base using a total of 24 leather rivets (12 pairs). Ensure the strips are secured.
Start the Braiding (Horizontal): See video. After each round, you'll need to connect the 25.5 inch strip with a pair of rivet. 8 pairs on each side of the bag.
Weave and Secure the Rings: Continue adding the PLA rings and weaving the horizontal strips, working your way up the bag. The rings should be held in place by the tension of the interwoven strips.
Secure Horizontal Strips: Once the main body is woven, secure the ends of the five horizontal strips to a vertical strip or the bag base using the remaining 12 leather rivets. The weaving action itself is the primary mechanism holding the bag together.
