Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a little pie - which is why I scaled down my Pixel Pie Slice Fidget to make these mini versions 🥧 For variety, I have designed 4 different slices: a slice with whip cream (think pumpkin, chocolate, coconut cream), a slice with an apple top crust, a slice with a lattice top crust and a plain slice. Print six slices to make a whole pie. I have also designed a pie dish to store them in 🥧

Dimensions of Pie Slice (assembled): 2 ¼ in x 2 in x ⅞ in Dimensions of Pie Pan: 5 inches in diameter x ½ in.

Instructions for Printing: Layer Height 0.2mm Infill 15% Supports needed under the lip of the pie pan

Basic PLA is always the best for this type of fidget. That being said, I did do the crust in a Matte PLA filament and it did fine but I recommend doing the ‘filling’ in a Basic PLA. I recommend the majority of the print in Basic PLA because the print is very detailed (on the inside) and the tolerances are small. I printed several of these in these three types of filaments and Basic PLA always printed the best and had smoother “movement” when done.

I have included a 3mf with the following print profiles: Print Plate #1 (Slice_whip cream): 3 colors Print Plate #2 (Slice_lattice): 2 colors Print Plate #3 (Slice_apple): 2 colors Print Plate #4 (Crust): 1 color Print Plate #5 (Pie Pan): 1 color, supports added under lip of pan

Note: I added an increased Z hop of 0.8mm to all the filaments in my 3mf to give the print head a little more clearance as it moves around.

To assemble, fit the pie crust onto the end of the pie slice. It should be a snug fit but feel free to add a little super glue if you would like:)

Enjoy! 🥧 Erin
