Kitsune Mask, inspired by the one worn by Makomo in Demon Slayer

Designed by Perihelion Prints

Ready to print and wear or display

======

Based on Makomo's mask from the anime/manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, this set of 12 kitsune masks are suitable as part of a costume or for display.

When worn for a costume, they are scaled to cover your entire face, or sit on top of your head as shown. Feel free to accessorize with ribbons, tassels, etc.

The set includes 6 designs with flowers, and 6 designs without flowers in the bottom-left corner. The designs with flowers have them embossed, so they should be visible without painting. Otherwise you can decorate them to your heart's content.

The 6 unique designs are as follows:

Closed Eyes (with full cut-outs) Closed Eyes (with circular eye holes) Closed Eyes (without eye holes; suitable for display) Squinting (with circular eye holes) Winking (with circular eye holes) Full "Open" Eyes (with circular eye holes) Note: The colours are only in the 3D model renders - when printing the coloured areas are embossed or indented. Intended for hand painting.

Please refer to the product pictures for more information.

======

Scaled to fit most adult heads.

For attachment to head, use elastic cord or ribbon. For fitting, place the mask on your face, lining it up with your eyes and the sides of your face.

Measure how much ribbon you'll need to go around your head, then add a bit more and cut two equal halves. Glue one to each side of the mask, and use the leftover length to tie both pieces into a knot/bow behind or head. Or you can edit the file to come up with your own solution.

Sculpted in Blender. STL and .blend files included. Dimensions in millimetres.

====== 0.30mm layer height recommended. Print as upright as possible (although that may require cutting into two pieces, as shown in pictures)

Use supports where appropriate - organic supports recommended. Brim also recommended.

15% infill tested. PLA recommended.

Filament Usage (estimated): 225-300g

Printing Time (estimated): 15-25h

^ Estimates based off slicing for Prusa MK3.9. Your mileage will vary. Much of the variability is up to how supports are calculated, and how the model is oriented. The specific design you choose also has some effect on the print time/filament use, but not as drastic as supports.

If you cannot fit it all on the print bed at once (always ideal if you can print in one piece) slicers like PrusaSlicer have the ability to cut the model in pieces for you, so you can print them separately and glue them together later. It may not seem ideal, but especially if you're painting the model after printing, the seam may not be that visible. But cutting the model and being able to print it upright instead of on an angle may save you ~10h of print time, as shown above.

Feel free to reach out with any slicing/printing questions (before or after your purchase)
