EWR Mk1 "WORKRIG"_Wrecker _1/10 RC Body and Chassis
EWR MK1 "Work Rig" Wrecker A 4WD RC wrecker that blends 1940s vintage truck charm with real working functionality
The EWR MK1 Work Rig reimagines the rugged styling of a 1940s classic truck with the performance of a modern rock crawler. With its high engine bay, signature sun visor, and bold overfenders, this machine commands attention on any terrain—supported by a fully capable 4WD chassis built for serious crawling.
The Wrecker version goes beyond a simple cosmetic upgrade. It features a fully functional tow system designed to closely replicate a real-life wrecker. Two winch motors are included—one to raise and lower the boom arm, and another to reel in the tow line—allowing you to perform realistic rescue operations. The towing system is strong enough to haul most standard RC crawlers, though care must be taken to avoid overloading due to material limitations. For smooth operation, it’s important to first position the boom arm, and then engage the tow line. Failing to follow this order may cause the boom to drop unexpectedly or place excessive strain on the structure and motors, so please be mindful when operating.
Additional scale features include a roof-mounted warning light and flashing tow lights in the rear, enhancing the realistic look of a working rescue vehicle. The wrecker assembly was modeled after real-world designs and supports both straight axles and portal axles with no compatibility issues—giving builders full freedom in their setup.
The Work Rig platform is built around an all-new 4WD chassis design. Multiple shock mounting points allow custom suspension tuning to match your driving style, and the steering column can be configured for both left- or right-hand drive. The hood is secured with thumb screws for easy access while staying firmly in place during rollovers to protect internal electronics. Expansion is easy thanks to dedicated mounts for sound modules and two battery tray options: a medium-size tray for standard packs and a compact tray for lowered center of gravity—ideal for technical terrain.
At Elvis RC, we follow three core principles in every design: Easy printing, enjoyable assembly, and rugged performance with a unique style.
The Work Rig Wrecker builds on this philosophy and adds a whole new layer of realism and function—it's more than an RC model, it’s a working machine.
Build it your way and make it yours. The Work Rig Wrecker is ready to tackle the trail—and the job.
