This tray design converts a food container into a very affordable resin washing station for MSLA/SLA 3D prints. It allows cleaning 3D prints with minimal alcohol (or other cleaning liquid), reducing resin contamination over time.

The issue with commercial resin washing stations like from Phrozen and Creality, is that they can be costly, often featuring proprietary liquid containers that require large amounts of cleaning liquid to function properly. This increases fire hazards and maintenance from resin contamination, kind of a hassle especially if you don't print frequently.

A smaller washing station like this is ideal for low-volume printing, and it supports a very affordable workflow of using multiple containers to better isolate resin contamination in between container. Do note that this design is only for the 3D printable tray that'll be submerged inside.

This particular tray design is around 100x70x170mm, and made for Lock&Lock HPL 809 food containers (around $3 in Indonesia). SOLIDWORKS and STEP files are provided for customization, or you could resize directly in a Slicer.

• See the image for recommended printing orientation. For the mesh.stl, print without top & bottom layer, so that the infill becomes the mesh pattern itself.
• Print using filaments that can resist to whatever cleaning liquid that you intend to use. Example, if you're using alcohol / IPA, print with PETG or PP filament. DO NOTE that some filament manufacturers use fillers on their filament which will affect the parts durability.
