Most Zigbee sensors are not designed to handle the weather outdoors (Don't ask me how many sensors I killed before I worked this out). Rain can instantly kill them and the temperature can make the sensor disconnect randomly. That is were this case design comes in! This protects your sensor/magnet and will help it survive the United Kingdom rainy weather! This style of case has now been tested by many members of the public and tested the same designed (with the Ikea Door/Window Sensor) on my own front gate and been great for the past 2 years!

Case dimensions are designed to fit the Aqara Door/Window Sensors (Model: DW-S03D & Model: MCCGQ11LM). Sensor: 22.5mm Width x 41.5mm Height x 11.5 Depth Magnet: 11.25mm Width x 25.25mm Height x 9.5mm Depth

Mounting:

• Use a screw through the case (Front to back Sensor: 20mm. Magnet: 18mm).
• Zip tie to the post through the base holes (Max 5mm wide). Use a nut and bolt to seal the case (M4 16mm).
