Poor Man's MMS (Manual AMS)
I decided to make a practice part and made this MMS. Its been a week since I made this and its been holding up pretty well.
Used PLA, just increased the percentage of infill to give it a bit of strength against 1KG of PLA.
I also recommend using ABS instead for stronger material, PLA does tend to slightly warp over time from the heat.
For the spool rod holder and the filament guide, I used the following below.
