Zodiac Inflatable Boat, Air Lid, Screw Cap, Pump Nozzle, Spare Part
A custom-made replacement part I made to fix an 1990's inflatable boat made by Zodiac Nautic. Now fully 3D-printable.
The original screw cap/ air lid/ nozzle isn't available anymore, so I made a new one.
I made the part from ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate), which makes it resistant to long-term heat exposure (during summers), harsh weather conditions and UV-light.
Dimensions: 6.1 x 4 x 5.2 cm (length x width x height)
The only thing you need is a flexible ring around the nozzle to make it air tight, and you are ready to go. I took the one of the original part (which broke). I'm sure most DIY shops sell these rubber rings too.
3D printing settings 0.4mm nozzle 0.15mm layer height Default layer width Perimeters: 3 Top and bottom: 5 Infill 50% gyroid
Print speed 30-45mm/sec Supports: Yes Support placement: everywhere, I would recommend using tree supports. For easier, removal. Top contact Z distance: 0.2 mm.
Recommended material: PETG, ASA For ASA prints- I would consider using a brim
