Intro I just had to rebuild my Steeda Mounts (Link to part here) because the bearing corroded really bad then blew out.

Steeda rebuilt them but I wanted a way to protect that area so water and road rubbish couldn't eat it away again. They sell a rubber nipple that covers the area but it will not work with my setup, Koni Yellow. So I designed a cap that's intended to pop on and is held on with friction.

I only print in PETG+ and this part has been tuned with that in mind, but since this will be used in cars and obviously exposed to extreme temperatures, I personally wouldn't use anything less than PETG on the filament scale.

If you do use other filaments, just be aware that the fitment may not be as correct as designed.

Instructions For printing, flip the part onto its head; this print requires no supports. It's not necessary to print as a solid; this is not a load-bearing part.

Extra info This is just V1 of this. As/if I iterate the design, I will share here. Hopefully, this can help someone else who may have run into a similar concern with this shock+mount combo.
