A few years ago I designed a Volkswagen T1 camper van to store small items on a desk. This design was very popular as my early design.

Among them, many customers requested that we create a roof that could cover the top of the vehicle so that it could be used as a scale model rather than a container. I was able to comply with that request this time.

I thought that making only the roof covering was not enough, so I also designed the roof carrier. It was made in two versions, one made entirely of metal and one partially made of wood.

This design consists of bending and folding a thin frame and attaching it with adhesive. It is very easy to make as long as you check the location of the insertion hole carefully.
