PVS-14 to camera lens adapter
I created this to serve my own needs - it adapts my milspec PVS-14 to fit on my camera. The lens I'm using is a Fujinon XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR, but any lens with 62mm threads should work fine.
Note: If you're looking for an adapter for other lens thread diameters, leave a comment or send me a message. I'd be happy to modify it for you!
Only one file is necessary; I recommend using the STL to print. I've included the STEP and Fusion source files in case you'd like to remix the model.
Design Considerations / Changelog
v4 (initial release)
This is currently the fourth version of this design; I've optimized for printability each iteration. So far, I've made the following changes:
- recessed the PVS-14 mount into the body of the part to reduce overall size; -50% filament usage
- added a fillet to the inner edge of the aperture, on the lens side; increases strength
- added a fillet to the inner edge of the PVS-14 indentation; increases strength
- made the top surface of the PVS-14 indentation parallel to the lens side; lessen need for supports
Printing
For printing... use your own judgement, and feel free to share your settings and results!
I used Bambu PLA-CF, 0.08mm layers, 2 walls, and 15% infil. That worked well and is very light, but I plan to reprint in PETG in the future.
I recommend you orient the print so the side with the indentation faces down to the print bed, to provide the best visible surface finish.
I did not use supports, but supports may be helpful for the PVS-14 indentation. I'm able to print it in PLA-CF with 0.08 layers as-is, but all printers are different.

Can you adjust for a 52mm ? Thanks!
Thank you so much! any chance you can upload a version for 82mm?
Thank you sir. I found this on arfcom
