The original is 2 pieces because they are supposed to be printed on their side. This version requires it to be printed on its back, which is more likely to fail because it relies on Z-axis adhesion.
I've gone for this model, So thanks. I don't understand why this is not the official model.
This design makes more sense than the original. Can't see the advantage of it being in 2 pieces .... Thx!
