St. Patty's Sling Puck Game
Test your luck with this fun and fast paced St. Patrick's Sling Puck Game!
Important: You will need rubber bands for this project, here is an Amazon link for rubber bands I recommend: https://amzn.to/41eijpL
3D Printing Instructions PLA works great Layer Height 0.2mm Infill 15% Supports needed for both rainbow pieces and box handle piece
PLEASE NOTE: For the large game box pieces, I disabled the prime tower because it did not fit. It printed fine for me without the prime tower (it only does a few color changes and still purges waste filament for the color change). Bambu Studio does not allow you to turn off the prime tower individually for objects (only globally for all the print plates) because of this the prime tower is also off for the rainbow pieces. You can go ahead and turn the prime tower back on for these pieces. To do this make sure “Global” is selected and then go to the ‘Others’ setting in Bambu Studio and select the box to ‘Enable’ the Prime Tower 👍🏼
I have included a 3mf file with the following print profiles: Print Plate #1(bottom left): 3 colors, no supports, PRIME TOWER DISABLED Print Plate #2 (bottom right): 3 colors, no supports, PRIME TOWER DISABLED Print Plate #3 (top half of rainbow): 3 colors, supports added (YOU WILL NEED TO TURN THE PRIME TOWER BACK ON - see above note) Print Plate #4 (bottom half of rainbow): 3 colors, supports added (YOU WILL NEED TO TURN THE PRIME TOWER BACK ON - see above note) Print Plate #5 (X connectors): one color Print Plate #6 (clover discs for rubber bands): one color Print Plate #7 (stacks of gold coins): one color Print Plate #8 (handle for game box): one colors, supports added
How to Assemble: Thread a rubber band through the holes on each side of the each of the bottom pieces and secure them around a clover disc. Line up the two bottom pieces and insert the X connector pieces to hold them together. Slide the bottom rainbow part onto the X pieces and then the top rainbow part. Place 5 coin stacks on each side of the game board and you are ready to play.
How to Play: Sling your coin stacks through the rainbow to the other side. First player to get all their coins to the other side (aka their side is empty of coins) wins the game!! Good Luck - it's pretty fast-paced and can get a little competitive (at least in our house 🤣 )
I also designed a 'handle' piece for storage of the game 👍🏼
Have fun printing!! -Erin
