A simple spacer to keep the earmuffs separated on Peltor ComTac (and other) headsets/earmuffs, as recommended by the manufacturer. If the foam/gel cushions are compressed, the insides will set, leading to a decreased seal when worn, which in turn can lead to hearing damage.

This spacer also has four holes in which foam ear plugs can be stored, for those who want the additional protection of wearing earplugs underneath the earmuffs.

The 50 mm height will provide approximately 6 mm of separation between the cushions. I've included a Fusion360 file, where the height and hole diameters are parametric.
