Hey, this is one of my original creations: a spiraling chain of gear linkages.
You need: Gears 1–12 11 Connectors
Print Settings: Standard. No supports.
Assembly: You can either use the assembly video or the included PDF guide.
Troubleshooting:
The Connectors fall out: Scale them in your slicer until they fit. I would start with 102%.
The Connectors Break: I did include stronger connectors in the "Troubleshooting" folder. The higher you go from 1-5, the stronger they get. You can also try printing them in a different filament. Many people had success by using PETG for them; I still use PLA.
Technical Data: The gear tentacle takes roughly 70g of filament and 3.5 hours to print.

has anyone tried scaling down ? will the clips suffer and be weak?

Hey, I did add a smaller version. No scaling needed. And btw. Scaling won't work. The Connectors are as small as they can be.
Please upload all the files as the folder only has the stl for a connector. Nothing else. Would love to try this one but can't.
