BLOB PUMPKINS

Update 2025-09-12: Increased thickness of ghost costume and added removable support to improve eye section, additional support still recommended. If you scale, you may need to split to objects to remove/adjust the support.

These cute little jack o'lanterns are excited to go trick-or-treating on Halloween night. They have moveable arms and articulating heads so you can pose them in a variety of ways. You can swap around their stems and bodies to create your own custom pumpkin character. Make minis or print just the heads with curly stems for fun keychains. They even come with several accessories and items for their spooky night out on the town! The pumpkins can be printed in multicolor or as parts.

Head Types

  • classic

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

  • .12mm layer height recommended for high quality
  • 3+ perimeters recommended for strength
  • no supports except for on the ghost costume (standard supports seem to work better than tree in this scenario)
  • eyes snap into head, use superglue if too loose, scale parts or adjust X-Y compensation if needed
  • glue on stems
  • snap head onto body
  • print all bodies laying on their back for neck strength
  • items should fit in hands, scale or adjust X-Y compensation if needed
  • 3MF files are for color information only, print settings may need to be adjusted
  • knife and candle can be printed on single color printers with filament swaps

Did not find printer in options: I printed this on an AD5X. Set size to 350% for all pieces, and if you have more time and resources I’d suggest a stronger material at least for the body/neck than PLA. Be prepared to lubricate and/or sand the neck and head joints for easier assembly, if you do not attempt to play with the slicer settings.

Additional note: robe and hands are crossed over from Blob Lab Skeleton set (also purchased).
Love it! Thanks. I am new to 3D printing and this was the first file I printed after the test with the benchy. One question though: how can I get rid of the marks on the body (see stomach, arms and legs).
These are the absolute CUTEST!!!! Bringing me, my co-workers and family much joy for the holidays :) Thank you for the wonderful design @BlobLab !
